| A guy backed in to it, wondering if I can replace it and if you can get them them painted from the factory ? |

| Extremely easy to remove/replace bumper. An assistant would help but not necessary. I've used a chair to help holding on to the opposite side. Remove the entire bumper took me less than 10 mins. One person job would take no more than 30 mins (take out & put back). We are much smarter than we think. :29: |

Thank you LionSpeed but :3: what a crappy mating set up to the fender I just discovered !
Because Acura chose to have two male tabs from the fender mate into the slots in bumper, I now need a whole new fender too!
The male tabs on fender broke off, not that I would know how they should have done it differently but if they never connected them by the tabs the fender would not have bowed in a bit.
Poor set up if you asked me, the guy was probably only going at a walking pace backing up and all this damage from that, shame on you Acura!
You know if the fender is easy to replace too ? |

| Why are you doing the work? Doesn't the other guy have insurance? |

Both of them are bolt ins, but you can't buy them pre-painted. Tim stopped selling pre-painted bumpers a few years ago, since they were difficult to ship without damage.
I'm afraid its time to go to the body shop. What's your deductible? |

It's not any $ coming out of our pockets, I just find that EVERY TIME I take a vehicle to a body shop, no matter where I take them, it comes back with something they missed, bent, didn't tighten etc, etc.......
We are going to take it to Acura and see who they have do their body work and most likely have them do it, it just all boils down to I don't trust anyone anymore unless I know the guy personally. |

You could always get the new part painted and then install on your vehicle.
I am not familiar with the area of the bumper of which you speak, but would it be feasible to use bolts and nuts in lieu of the snap together parts. Would this fix your problem?
