| I noticed on my 08 MDX that the DRL are not on. The light switch is set to auto. The manual says that DRL come on if light switch is set to off. Is that how it works on other MDXs. On my 06 RL, DRL are on all the time whether light switch is set to auto or off. It certainly would make sense that the DRL are on when the headlights are not (ie daytime) regardless of the switch position. |

Even in Auto, as long as the headlights are off, the DRLs will be on. You didn't happen to have the parking brakes on when you checked , did you?
The DRLs will only turn on when you first startup after you release the parking brakes. |

| I concur the disabling DRL's with the parking brakes ON. Release them & you're set. Otherwise, your DRL's are DEAD. |
