If it was 53 here in PA, I would be washing my x in a t-shirt, I have washed my x outside in temps as low as 25 degrees, I fill the bucket
with warm water and soap and I move as fast as I can as my driveway will become a sheet of ice, in the meanwhile I have a space heater going in the garage so I can take the x in to dry it off, meanwhile my x is really dirty as it has rained every other day here,
no sense washing when the next day it will become just as filthy.

spoke with my mother in South West Louisiana. I 'm going home to visit for the holiday. She said it was "hotter than hell and humid". It actually sounded nice......:4:

Mine is also dirty :( ...I wish I could go out there and wash it but in below 30 all day long and below 20 in the nights ...it's not going to happen anytime soon. I did it a week ago in the garage ...you get that numb feeling in your hands after some time ...but it looks great .... until you go out on 1 drive in the snow and then it's like you never washed it :( ....months of this to go... sigh* I wish it was 53 here Fab :p

Fabvsix
Is that a dirty zAino X ? I still see a faint shine.....brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr I'm kinda like Heat00000 as I'm ignorant when it comes to snow and certainly driving in it. In Louisiana you sure know how to swim and wade in swamps........

Your lucky it's just the cold keeping your car dirty. With the drought in the SE we've been on water restrictions since August.

On the bad side,
No washing cars, :(
No cleaning off driveways, :(
No use of outside fountains :(
Can't refill to pool :(

But on the good side

Shared shower with the wife :) :D (just doing my part for the environment)

I keep my car 24/7 clean inside out all the time unless I'm sick in bed. Wash schedule is once every 2 weeks, thanks to my garage & the CAR COVER. Speaking about the cover, recently purchased an Amazing Roll-up cover which takes 30 secs to roll-up & about 1min to cover. Sweet little rolling device.

You sure about this? Cause from my experience, we've seemed to spend or rather WASTE water 3X as much (if not more) when shared shower. :)
HuMan321
Hey LS

How about a link so we can check out this cover? Also, can you include a pic of that coin holder you showed us once? I am thinking that would be a cool stocking stuffer.

Thanks,

I love it. Fit perfect! keeps my X clean & free of Garage's dust. :29:
Fabvsix
My 05 MDX cover fits the 07 just fine that I bought from Tim. Now it is over the bar in the back yard protecting it from the winter rain (when ever that is....). The RL is covered by an OEM Acura cover also purchased by Tim....

Do you want to see a dirty X? Look no further. :)

bbmd - Not only did we buy the same car (except for interior color) we bought it from the same dealer! And I have a snowblower sitting in the same place in the garage. And it would be a tie on the dirty part - they use so much salt around here the black car just turns white. You don't even want to see my nice epoxy garage floor right now with salt/slush drippings

I got the same one from Target. It catches a little on the slide cover for the cupholder compartment.

Mine closes completely. Want to know how I did it?

Simple. I heat the bottom cup holder (low heat) from OVEN, until (lil melting process). AND quickly press DOWNWARD (on hard surface). I repeated this step 3 times & got a total of 0.5" shorter end result.

Sweeet! Thanks for the tip, LS. :29:

So you refer "Vent Visors" RICE, boy let me tell ya, that Type S is RICE LUXO coin holder, all the RICERS have in their cars (fart pipes, stickers, type S plastic junk etc....) is calling the kettle black.....:4:
Fabvsix
This is the DAS ORIGINAL Acura CL Type S not associated with RICE Type S coin holders and the like... !

I'd hid that in the arm rest area......

Nuff said...:o

My SH-AWD sticker fell off and I want to replace it with a Type-S sticker. Does anyone know where I can get one in chrome (bigger the better)?

Also, any tips on how I can hook up some neon lighting under the X?

:15:

It's a coin holder that sits inside the cup holder covers by the slide cover which locates INSIDE the car.

Ya think it's little hard to spot it looking from the outside? LOL :2:
Fabvsix
Where does your passenger put their CHELADA then ??????????????????? MUHahahahhgahahahhahahahhaha:4:

Just washed mine this Sunday & applied 2nd coat of CS. Gonna wait til summer to apply Z5 & others.

P.S. Just wondering. I usually apply Lexol leather conditioner twice/month on our seats. Is that too much?
Fabvsix
Overkill LS. You have TOO much time on your hands I'm afraid.......burp.....
LionSpeed
That's what I thought. I'll cut down to once a month now. Thx.

What? No dirty MDX's in 5 months? Well, here's my X with a "runny nose" following a long trip back to CO from AZ.
kingmdx
Damn ...that's coated... I would say you got to clean it but then it's snowing still there so within a few days it will probably look the same :p ...we are still at 50 or so here and it's mid May!!
bigdivot1
Actually back to partly cloudy/sunny and 50 here today, on the way to 80's (Cheladas) this weekend. The car will get some TLC then. We'll see if we can push the snow out to Michigan!

BTW, has anyone else had this winter driving problem? Drive straight for many miles in a snow/ice storm, which allows the ice to accumulate behind the front strake, then try to turn a corner. Not much clearance to the tire!
bigdivot1
Here's another one:
midnightMDX
Nice pics. My X was covered in leaves from a windy storm. But no more snow. :2:

I can recall when we would leave for Colorado to spend the entire summer there we would arrive by "end of May" as prior it was still cold/chilly. I guess being in California spoils you. We are expecting low to mid 90's tomorrow into the weekend.....right now it is 76 ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

We don't have snow ...but it's not that warm yet either...I can't wait from some heat to come and stay... can't stand the teasing of a couple days of heat (60-70) then back down to 30s.
