The other night I was on the highway and some idiot decided to cut in front of me on the left lane and proceed to slam on the brakes for no apparent reason. ( discovered it was a cell phone user sigh...)
Anyhow, I stepped on the brakes pretty hard obviously to avoid rear ending her and I felt the X sort of veer off slightly. I was wondering if you any of you have experienced this as well? |

I had to slam the brakes really hard on the highway about a month ago after the driver in front of me rear-ended the guy in front of him.
The X stopped like a charm from about 40mph with a couple of feet to spare. I was really impressed as I honestly didn't think it could stop on such short distance. I didn't notice any veer. |

thats good to know that yours didnt veer, I guess it could be I was on a slight curve that maybe it leaned more and I felt it as a veer.
I agree the braking is terrific on a 4500lb vehicle. |
