Hi All,
I have a 2004 MDX standard ( non-touring ) that came out of its 30K service with comments that all brake pads were low and the front rotors need to be resurfaced. I'm sure this is the case as at least 75% of the miles on it were around town. Also I'm feeling a lot of brake fade with hard braking at interstate speeds. I'm going to replace front rotors and do new pads all around. My question is this: are the OEM brake lines Stainless steel wrapped in rubber? I'm considering s/s brake lines but don't want to put out the $$ for them & the installation if the OEM lines are nice & solid. Thanks in advance, Tom. |
