This is the first year I have owned my mdx. I am planning to take it in to have some minor repairs done. I have never dealt with Acura warranty before so before I goof up, I figured I would ask a couple questions. My main question however is which of these will Acura Warranty cover under the bumper to bumper warranty.
1) VTM OFF & CRUISE CONTROL SWITCH - At night these switch lights only illuminate if I put them in the on position. Do these two switches have a regular back light, like the fog light switch, that helps to identify where these switches are located when they are in the off position? I dont really care about the VTM off switch because I dont ever intend to turn that off. However, at night, if the cruise control switch is off, I cant see where it is located unless I feel around for it or turn on the light in the car.
2) VOLUME CONTROL - There is something acting up in my volume control on the steering wheel. About once a week, I notice the down position of the volume control actually raises the volume of the stereo. When this happens the up and down positions raise the volume and I must use the rotary knob on the radio to lower it. IT happens radomly and not very often.
3) HEATED SEAT - As mentioned in another post, I suspect my heated passenger seat is not working and the back light is also blown on the switch.
4) DOOR LIGHT - I noticed one of my door light must be blown.

The cruise control and a lot of other switches are not back lit on my 2001 - an oversight that was fixed on the 07.
As long as you're under Acura Care, the rest of your issues should be covered. |
