Hello, ... this is my first post here ...I just had an ipod accessory put in my car by the acura dealer (so it is acura-made/endorsed etc) ...(I am not much for going to a future shop or Visions electronics, or that kind of place for install of stereo stuff into a vehicle unless i have an older car way past its warranty). My car is a brand new MDX. The ipod touch does in fact work in my MDX but i cannot view the songs or anything in the screen either in the ipod itself (it just says..."accessory attached" or something like that on the ipod itouch with a grey outline of an ipod against a white background). But i can hear music from my itouch ipod but the only way of going to another song is to hit the seek button.
Anybody out there with a brand new MDX along with a new itouch with the dealer installed ipod accessory?
....I also have other ipods but have yet to try them out in my car... |

i just tried my other ipods and i must say the factory (actually, dealer installed) ipod adapter REALLY,... REALLY SUCKS. Do not buy it. With any ipod that is attached to this wire there is NO WAY of seeing any of one's music's artists, or song titles or playlists of ANYTHING!!! ....instead go out and buy one that is from Future Shop, or Toys for Boys, or some other audio store ....
...The whole point, in my opinion, is to scroll one's ipod and play what u want to play rather than just guess at which will be the next to play song.... |
