| What The!? |
Hi everyone,
I'm in the market for a 2004 MDX with NAV.
I found a certified white one with 71k miles.
The car is in great condition and all service records were done by the dealer. Carfax shows that there was a service done every 5000k religiously.
They are asking $22,995. I think they may have some more wiggle room to go.
I'm debating since Acura is having the certified sale (60 months @ 4.9%).
They also have a 2005 with 49k miles but they're asking $28,995. I can't justify paying 6k more just because of the mileage.
Should I go for the 2004 with the 71k miles? It has the 12 month warranty and 100k powertrain.
btw, Happy New Year! |

| The 04 is a decent year but kinda high mileage for a CPO. That means you only got 30K miles worth of warranty. Personally I would go for the 05 since BlueTooth and XM became standard that year and you've got a newer vehicle but I guess that depends on your budget. |

That is a lot of miles for either year vehicle. My 04 has just over 35,000.

| Yea, those seem a little high for the years. But highways miles are usually better than city miles. I am sure you can chop off money on those prices with a little haggling. I would rather have the one with lower miles. Most CPO cars are ones that have just come off lease, and have a reasonable amount of miles. I got my 04 in Sept, and it had only 21,000 miles. |
