| Ive had my granite green mdx for a month & I still can't stop smiling,untill I wash it & my paint job has quite a noticeable orange peel finish.It didn't bother me at first but its starting to bug me more & more as time goes by.Anyone else have this problem?I just want to Know Im not alone,cuz if I am I have a gripe W/acura. |

| All of 'em have it. You can do a search for "orange peel" if you want for a handful of discussions we had a few months ago (if not farther back than that). |

| i have a GG too but i havent noticed any orange peel just yet... im not the type that goes over every inch of the exterior with a magnifying glass to detect flaws anyway..... finish looks fine for me and i dont even do any of the serious waxing that some of you guys do(although i do need to treat her to a nice wax job at some point).... im more concerned with the door dings i have than orange peel... |

from the replies to my post.it seems others think my paint is peeling,it is not.my entire paint finish has a look of orange peel.its so obvious you think you can feel it.i dont have to look close to see it .it jumps out at me.i showed this to the body shop mgr.(WHO IS ACURA CERTIFIED)at my dealer.he said it was normal.I'll take his word untill i see one with a smooth finish.

Normal, and they all have it. More noticable on darker colors than lighter. You have to look @ the lines of reflections rather than the paint itself for the OP to really manifest itself. Herb posted this pic in the gallery awhile back:

And rocketman, we know what peel is and were refering to orange peel, not paint peel. ( just for the record ) ;)
