Hi:
I just bougth a 2003 Acura MDX from a dealer I know very well just over 3 month ago.
My 2003 Acura MDX is broke down (transmission is broken) during a long trip last week (300 miles) on highway. We almost got involved into an accident.
I was driving 65 miles /hr on heavy tracfit highway and my MDX would not accelarate while I was on the outside lane. I was very lucky to stop the MDX at the shouder of the highway. Almost got hit by a tractor.
I need a new transmission per Acura's dealer. They told me that Acura doesn't sell new transmission. The rebuild one cost around $4500.
I want to convince Acura to help me to pay the cost.
If Acura helped you to pay to replace your trane, Can you give me your case # or your vin# so that I can convince Acura to pay for the cost to replace the trane. Your information would be very hopeful to us.
I called Acura, they got all my information & they told me that they will look into the case and will give me call back within 2 days.
If you have any information to help me, please email to me
Please email to: bll108@yahoo.com
Thanks

| Do a search on this site for "transmission problems." there's a multitude of problems documented. Print it out and give it to the Serivce Manager. Let us know how things go because we're all interested, believe me. |
