Yes,
I put in a supercharger and a 2 stage NOS system. The X now goes 0-60 in 3 seconds. Look out Diablo. |

Ace 3, I've been wondering about the same thing myself. I guess the majority of the sarcastic answers given above suggests that not too many people have done it nor are interested in it.
I'm definitely interested in doing some mods if they were available and are reliable. Something like stiffer sway bars or strut brace would be nice to stiffen up the cornering. I don't expect mdx to perform like a sports car but my sister's X5 corners much better and some mods would be definitely get me interested. I think that acceleration is good enough for an SUV, but more oomph wouldn't hurt either. There were some discussions before about dual exhausts but that kind of died out for some reason. I don't know of anyone working on it but I haven't done too much research on it either. Let us know if you find something. |

The Progress group for suspension parts, possible aftermarket intake kit from Comptech that is meant for the TL or Cl, w/a few or minor modifications might fit. Denso Iridium Spark Plugs, Maybe The Program might make a custom chip for the MDX, An inline fuel pressure regulator should also help get a little more hp, an aftermarket exhaust might also help no application specific for the X yet, but maybe a universal one should fit. There are also V-TEC controllers out there but it does tend to set off the OBD system, but I don't think the X needs the controller since the V-TEC kicks in a little earlier on the X compared to other Acuras.
I also wonder if the TL or CL headers might fit with a little mod.
By the way I did not install any of these mods, but these might be all possible. |
