I had this working - but suddenly it stopped.
My key is programmed for Driver1 and it works on steering, mirrors seat position etc., but it does not slide any more to get in and out.
What am I missing? Is there a button or setting to get it going - again?

Is this a feature on the '08's? It is not one on the '07's.
The only thing that moves upon key in / out is the wheel, not the seat. |

Needsdecaf...I just hope I was not dreaming of this feature in my last SUV/Touareg and/or my wife's Infiniti.
Will check the manual....RTFM!!!

The seat on my 04 moves. In fact I have never seen/owned a vehicle with driver preferred adjustments where the seat did not move.

| The seat DOES move between the memorized driver 1 and driver 2 positions. I am not aware it moves to facilitate access out of the vehicle. |

| 2008 MDX seat does not move for entry/exit. The steering wheel does and to activate the feature use the MID and look for Auto Tilt&Telescope. HTH. |

Right.
My Pathfinder had a feature similar to what Cy described in that upon shutoff, the seat would motor back all the way to facilitate access. Not that it did me any good, I had the seat back all the way.
The MDX will not move the seat if it's in the spot that's memorized in that fob's preferences. It will move the wheel in all the way and up, but that's it AFAIK. |

I am guessing that you are dreaming of your wife's Infiniti. My 04 Maxima did this, but my 07 MDX does not |

OK GUYS - I admit - IT WAS A DREAM !!!
My Touareg did that, my wife's Infiniti does that now, and my Pathy before T-Reg did that too as needsdecaf points out.
Now, this bad dream happened, because my wife is Driver 2 and the seat goes forward for her - so when I got in sometimes with my key it went back and reset the mirrors wheel etc.....that was my DREAM !!!
