Let's update periodically, with members getting new phones, better compatibility and phonebook transfer...as Honda/Acura do not pay attention to updating their website....or advising by Acuralink.

Thanks,

Great Idea!! The website does not always have the correct information........
I've had my Sony Ericsson S710a for at least 4 years, which the website said it was NOT compatable with the system........Well, it was and it also imported my cell phone book.

I bought the AT&T Motorola Q9h (also known as Moto Q Global).

It works like a champ! It transfers the phone book, the battery life and signal meter show on the dash, it is fantastic!

Verizon LG Voyager works well.

Apple IPhone transfers the phonebook just fine.

I just bought the Motorola Q from Alltel. I can not get the phone book to transfer. Did you have to do anything special to get topone book to transfer. I was ablr to get the phone to pair with the MDX with no problems.

Someone here wrote the MOTO Q Global worked with all HFL/BT functions and even transferred the phonebook.

Any other newer phones except I-Phone that fully work?

Guys keep this list updated for readers.

I'm not sure if you guys are talking about this site, but this site has list of new phones (well... may be prev. year's phones) that can be used with HFL:
http://www.acura.com/models/handsfreelink/hfl_index.asp

Some carriers may have an updated list such as this one:
http://support.vzw.com/how_to_use/b...th_car_kit.html

One key trick that I had to do w/ my LG 8350 phone is to use 0000 pin code since it has "Auto Pair" feature.

The HFL website is crap. The phones are old, and in most cases, the "checks" or "X's" are not correct.

I didn't have to do anything out of the ordinary, it was pretty straight forward. I have the newer Q, not sure which one Altel sells.

I fully agree with needsdecaf...cant rely on the acuralink.

We should update ourselves with all new phones and gimmicks to help out our forum members.

I am still screwed with no way of doing it. I eventually may buy a phone just to transfer.
