After a recent cold snap, I found that the parts of the front bumper on my '07 MDX on both sides stick out next to the front fender. The paint has even chipped off on the driver's side.
Has anyone else seen this particular problem with fit? |

| I have the same issue, but the paint chip was more inwards and isn't as noticeable as yours. I called the acura dealer and they said they documented it incase the bumper further peels. Lately now, with the colder weather the tips are poking out further and the rear bumper gap has increased a bit. I am going to take the X to the dealer in a month or so to have it checked out. |

| same here on the passenger side, it's totally unacceptable for a car that cost 40k+, right? |

| As I said, the Japanese build WAY better vehicles on THEIR turf ! This is horrible and unacceptable ! Go to your dealership, hand them the keys and say politely "Call me when its fixed"........ |

Took the car in for a repair, and it was at the shop for an entire week (Monday morning at 7am till Friday afternoon at 5pm). The driver's side bumper tip was repainted and repositioned flush with the fender. To my shock, after a week in the shop, they did not even touch the right bumper tip and it protruded out exactly the same. A wasted week!
Looked at 2-3 other cars on the lot and they ALL had the bumper tips sticking out from the body panel. The only MDX around that did not have the problem was a 2008 MDX in showroom. |

| I noticed this alignment issue when picking up the X. I had them realigned it before taking delivery, and had no problems ever since. |
