I am shopping around to extend the warranty on my X. It's now around 2k miles so before 6k I'm trying to get something sorted out.
I couldn't help but notice warranties across the board for acura care took a price dive this week. Example... a few days ago it was around $2110 for a 8 year $0 deduc. 120k warranty...now it's $1890.
My question: Is this a regular occurrence that it fluctuates like this or is this just a great time to buy buy buy...at my current mileage per month I will be able to wait like 4 months again before I HAVE to buy. But if this price drop is temp. or just a super great deal etc. that will go away soon then I will just take it now. You older acura/honda heads need to tell me how this acura care thing goes. Is this a regualr thing...are you shocked like me that it dropped... do you think it will go back up soon etc... I'm nissan/infiniti so I don't have a clue to what honda does ....HELP !! all opinions welcomed...:D
Oh BTW...Tim's site hasn't updated their stuff yet as he said he is still trying to get it done. But other sites example Bernardi etc. have. And don't mind the sign that says "Price increase coming in January" on Bernardi ..they had that up when it was $2110 a day or two ago and now it's $1890 ($1915-$25 btw to mach what other sites give) ..an "increase" ended up being a drop in price :eek: go figure :confused: |

I don't even know how to do that end of it.....but I'm thinking that I'm going to have to do something there in the not too distant future as my warranty sales here are in the proverbial toilet :(
I could be like a bank and offer a free toaster though :D
I can meet or beat anything on the market, but the financing I can't do at the moment. |

That was the ONLY deciding factor for me the 12 month 0% thing. I wish I could do the all at once thing ...if i was picking up a 6yr 70k or something like that price range I would have paid for it all at once and taken it from you but I picked up a 8yr 120k w/$0 deduc. so I rather the 12 month.
Imagine if you got 0% financing for parts/access :eek: that would just fuel my disease :p ..rofl :2: |

FYI, it looks as if your warranty price was actually raised and not lowered on your site. I was looking at the 120K zero deductable on an 07 MDX.
It used to be 2110.00 now it is 2210.00 :o
I was looking as I just bought mine from you two months ago. I bought it with 200 miles on my car because the advice was that you would not gain or lose by waiting until closer to 6K.
Who would ever think that the price would go down...:(

Ahhhh ..see that's why I started this post :p ....I never thought it would drop like that either since the value is set by the seller basically... acura doesn't have a fixed price or MSRP value. So to see a drop was kinda shocking. I hope a couple months from now I'm not in your boat and see a drop again... that would suck.
Yeah Tim's site has gone up ...i think it's a mistake ...but he will tell us or fix it eventually I'm sure. |

Do you know if you are going to be providing/selling matching faux wood cover for the RES screen component in the ceiling? You have them for the 1st gen as I bought from you. That would be a nice touch!
