I had clicking noise issue a while ago and my dealer fixed it after I almost fell in love with the RDX as a loaner for 2 weeks. However, the clicking noise had come back again.
My dealer told me that there is no permanent fix from Acura so far and they are certainly aware of the problem. They had replaced the front control arms and the noise came back after 1 month. According to Acura, there is no safety concern about this. However, I do have a driving-me-nuts concern.
They were able to fix the speaker-popping issue by doing the software update as follows:

I have waited for 2 days and the noise was gone for good.
