Hello friends, I am going to sign for the acura mdx 2008 sport w entertainment.
Can you guys please advice what all accessories i should ask to be thrown in along with .i.e. please suggest must have and good to have accessories.
I will be a new driver on mdx so please advice. |

I like having the all-weather rubber floor mats (front and 2nd row) and cargo tray... really helps trap the dirt, plus the mats and tray are all washable. Very handy on sloppy weather days.
We have mud flaps on all 4 wheels and are also considering purchasing the full front air deflector to help protect the hood from stone chips, etc.

Sport looks good with the Sport running boards. People have argued about their functionality in several threads but I use them for my kids and they complement the X well, and hide the exhaust pipes/mufflers well.
Some prefer the body side moldings (BSM) but I like the naked look. Didn't get the roof rails either. I have the older X for that.
I got the tow hitch and backup sensors installed by my dealer. Also got Husky Liner mats from autoanything. And the indispensable cargo tray for hauling stuff.
Some other interesting add-ons: wood and leather steering wheel and shift knob. The wheel I don't like so much but I may do the shift knob later.

| I added the all season floor mats (must), cargo tray (must have w/ my kids and the baseball, soccer, shoes, etc that they throw in there), and the roof racks (optional)...I also added the chrome runners (always wanted them but a must for the kids)... |

Thank you very much friends for your great inputs, I am at logger heads with the dealer(s).
Both of them gave good pricing on the new car , but the trade in on my Acura 3.2TL is very bad. I am still trying my level best to break the ice.
Will post you guys soon abt the update. |

good luck. I jsut bought my MDX in mid-Jan but have been car shopping since beginning of Decemeber. I consider myself a seasoned buyer. It usually takes me a week or so to make a good deal... this time around was TERRIBLE with the trade being the sticking point. Dealers are stingy with trades - it was serendipitous though... had Nissan not been so darn stingy, i would have ended up with a new pathfinder instead of a new MDX |
