| Has anyone experience a loud electronic ticking noise coming from speakers at starting the ignition? I hear this noise from time to time at start eventhough the radio is turned off? It's very annoying. I'm not sure if this is coming from the starter, or radio/dvd... |

Since you're calling it "ticking": Does this happen about 100 feet after you first start rolling, and only when you've just turned on teh engine?
If so, it is the ABS self-diagnostic. The four ABS zone valves open and close to check that they're functioning properly. You won't hear it the rest of hte trip. |

Is it a "tick, tick, tick" or more of a "pop"?
If it's the latter, that's been discussed here and there is a TSB out to fix it. Search around, you'll find it.
I have it, but my dealer has been "unable to replicate" so no fix has been applied yet. Plus when I went in, they were in the middle of two TSB's...one had been pulled, but the new one hadn't been issued yet. |

As I turn the ignition key to start the engine, I hear this loud "pop" noise coming from the speakers even though the radio is off. it's very annoying. I feel like this is going to short the entertainment system....
Should I take the vehicle to the dealership? |
