Hi All,
My battery eye is not green anymore after parked for 3 weeks, can it turn green once I take the car to freeway for a few miles? Or the battery is going to die soon?

| Those eyes are pretty much useless. The dealer will tell you that also. My eye was barely green for 4.5 years and I replaced my battery just before winter as a precaution. If you are concerned have a dealer or garage test it. My dealer provides a test at every service at no charge . |

If you have a battery charger, put it on a trickle charge. Much kindler on your alternator than trying to charge up a dead battery while driving.
If it still has enough juice to start the car, you can put it on a 6-amp quick charge. Any lower than that and you risk damaging the internal plates. |
