For the folks who have mounted their E-ZPass transponder on the windshield, where on the windshield do you think is the best location?
TIA! |

| Behind the rearview mirror. Don't even notice that it is there. |

That's what I thought but when I saw all those "dots" in that area near the rearview mirror, I wasn't sure if the dots would block the transponder. Now I feel more comfortable.
Thanks for the quick reply! |

Hey Bimmerguy288, before you mount the ezpass behind the rv mirror, try going thru a toll holding it up there. The 'dots' are a sunshade that may be metallic and may block the transponder. If it works, go for it!
Also, if you are a marine, semper fi, and thanks for keeping me free!

I have mine mounted behind the rear view mirror / out of sight and just below the dot-screen.
But, you will be surpised that the NTTA toll tag in Dallas/TX, works even from the spectacle case, near the rear view mirror.

Does not effect it whatsoever. Works fine in this location. |

I mounted it behind the rearview mirror, just below the doted area.
BTW, I am not a marine nor ever served but I am a grateful American and I donate quite a bit to various millitary-related causes. We can never thank them enough. My favorite two:

| I requested the special tag one and had it put on my front license plate. The EZ pass website stated that the Honda/Acura vehicle windshield has the special coating so the front tag is required. FWIW, I use the regular transponder on my front windshield for the TLs and no problem whatesover. |

The website is incorrect. The transponder inside the windshield works fine, even on high speed tolls. |

| I've got mine behind the mirror, to the passenger side of the dots in my '05 MDX and it works fine. Same place in my '02 TL-S and no problems there either. |

| In my 08 x I have it mounted on the right on the dots and it works just fine, even at high speeds |
