Have heard of this through another forum and a couple of dealer sites (not near me). When does it start? Friday? Any info would be nice, as we can close today for 4.9%, but would rather wait until then for 2.9%

Yesterday night on TV I saw the Acura corporate (not local dealer) ad for 2.9%. I didn't pay attention if it's for 60 months (no plans here to buy one).

The local dealer Sunnyside Acura in NH is doing a 0% (upto 60 months) through presidents day. Although I dont think its a great deal as they are not coming down much on sticker with that deal

To my knowledge, Acura is not doing any 0% deals but some of their programs are regional, so what we may have available in the Northeast may differ from what you can get on the west coast. Realisitically, I last heard that Acura dealers are running a 20-25 day supply of MDXs Nationwide, hence the lack of any agressive incentives or lease programs.
The dealer is probably buying the 2.9 rate down, some Banks will allow this hence their unwillingness to come off of MSRP, they are probably getting charged back thousands on each contract that they write below the 2.9.
