| Anyone notice the different? I have my Sport Running Board installed for about 2 weeks and I'm sure that my X is now more stable on the road. Maybe its my imagination. |

IMO, SRB not just makes your X heavier but also plays a tiny part in stablizing on the road. I say tiny because, it is to me almost inconclusive. If the SRBs were wider & 5X heavier then we might be able to spot the difference.
Having said that, yes it is just your imagination. :D |

| For sure they do. In fact, if you were to add a Mugen and an HKS sticker, you would see horsepower go up 5%. Proven fact. |

Hey Quill, where does one get an HKS sticker? :8:
I need the extra horsepower to offset the weight of my sport running boards! |

I'm sure it drives better... i know mine is always faster and more nimble after a good wash. . . .even more so after a wax.
Perception & Confidence go a long way... including vehicle performance |

Don't know about the boards (if anything, after getting them installed, the ride seemed a little bit noisier) but I've just passed the 7.5k miles mark and lately I've been noticing the X is running a whole lot smoother. And I do mean a whole lot! Loving it even more!
Guess the break-in period is over :) |

| I wonder how they are attached, maybe they could reduce body flex when cornering. purely speculation. |

Not unless they were welded on from end to end. |

it drives even better with cotton in your ears so you don't hear any clunks or clicking, or blindfolded where you don't see the cheap ass

That Sports Running Board improves the body rigidity and handling. Works like the Stillen strut tower bar.

I will bet that running board also improved fuel economy by 3 or 4 mpg.
