I have questions about towing capacity, tongue weight and class # of the OEM hitch. Of course my MDX and it's manual is in long term parking at the airport while I'm traveling and I can't find a .pdf for a 2001 MDX on the Internet....why is that? Is there no such thing? Anyway, I will greatly appreciate someone telling me what the tow capacity of a 2001 MDX is. My guess is 4500 pounds. My guess for the OEM hitch is class 3 and hitch tongue capacity is somewhere in the 500 to 750 lb range possibly...?

| Found answer to the towing capacity question: 4500 lbs. for boats and 3500 is the max for trailers. |

Thanks for that link. That's exactly what I needed. Strangely I wasn't able to save the entire manual with one click. For some reason it's broken up into numerous indexed sections and then you are forced to save each individual page as a separate .pdf file. None-the-less I've saved the link in my favorites and hopefully can access it online whenever I need to. Thanks again.

| I'm not sure why they did that. If you email Honda's corporate address, they might have a full unlinked PDF on file. |
