My 04 MDX 74k miles does not take potholes well; I'd like to try replacing the rear shocks since they are probably much easier to DIY than the front struts.
I've searched this site and I am thinking about replacing the rears with Monroe Sensa Trak. Is replacing the shocks as easy as removing the two bolts and replacing the shock? Do I need anything else (like bushings), or do the units come complete? Can I expect an improvement in the ride quality?
Thanks

| ...they should come complete with everything you need. I'm not familiar with your choice but if you feel that they meet your needs then go for it!! Rears are DIY. Just take your time and you'll be happy with the results, I'm sure. Let us know how it goes. |

THanks for the response. I replaced the rear shocks with Monroe Sensa tracs. Two bolts each shock - real easy. Did it while I was replacing brake pads.
Not a huge difference, but an improvement nonetheless. I'll have to check with the wife today - it's her daily drive. |

Can you post part number, price, and where you purchased? It will help those of us out that plan on doing the shocks in the near future.
