The latest TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results have been posted. These are for the year ending December 31, 2007.
For the 2001 Acura MDX, we received an average of 5.1 months of data on 14 cars. The stat of 68 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.7 per vehicle) is better than average for a 2001 model.
For the 2004 Acura MDX, we received an average of 5.2 months of data on 13 cars. The stat of 36 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.4 per vehicle) is better than average for a 2004 model.
In both cases the results are asterisked for insufficient sample size.
Everyone who has been helping out with this research, thank you. Those who aren't yet helping out, please consider doing so. It would be nice to get rid of those asterisks and include additional model years in future updates.
