Hi all. I can exchange you a rebuilt and tested rear transistor for your burned out one. I test them before shipping, you just swap and enjoy. Please conform this item is your issue with the rear blower not working, as this part is the most common failure.
I will ship yours in a bubble wrapped package with a tracking number within 48 hours of receiving yours. I will include shipping for the $50 fee of the repaired transistor.
pm me for more details or email vancarz@shaw.ca
Cheers :) |

A rebuilt TRANSISTOR? I have never heard of such a thing.
By transistor you are talking about that very small electrical device that controls electric current???

| G, maguffin is probably offering the service of rebuilding a transistor assembly for those who have had the rear AC blower motor malfunction. |

Sorry for the confusion, it is located in the console by the driver's right leg. |

Good luck with your project. I personally think that $50 is a bit steep given the fix is posted on this site and the part to be replaced is less than a $1. When I replaced my I bought the oem from my dealer with warranty and it was less than $100. But fwiw this IS the correct fix if your rear blower isnt working but the manual rear light still lights up. There has been a few cases where the actual blower is the culprit not just the transistor. |

I just realized there is a "bit" of a price gap between the US and Canada. The transistor here is $369 from an Acura dealer!
With the dollars at par now, there seems to be a bit of price gouging here. |
