Hi all. I can exchange you a rebuilt and tested rear transistor for your burned out one. I test them before shipping, you just swap and enjoy. Please conform this item is your issue with the rear blower not working, as this part is the most common failure.

I will ship yours in a bubble wrapped package with a tracking number within 48 hours of receiving yours. I will include shipping for the $50 fee of the repaired transistor.

pm me for more details or email vancarz@shaw.ca

Cheers :)

A rebuilt TRANSISTOR? I have never heard of such a thing.

By transistor you are talking about that very small electrical device that controls electric current???

G, maguffin is probably offering the service of rebuilding a transistor assembly for those who have had the rear AC blower motor malfunction.

Sorry for the confusion, it is located in the console by the driver's right leg.

Good luck with your project. I personally think that $50 is a bit steep given the fix is posted on this site and the part to be replaced is less than a $1. When I replaced my I bought the oem from my dealer with warranty and it was less than $100. But fwiw this IS the correct fix if your rear blower isnt working but the manual rear light still lights up. There has been a few cases where the actual blower is the culprit not just the transistor.

I just realized there is a "bit" of a price gap between the US and Canada. The transistor here is $369 from an Acura dealer!

With the dollars at par now, there seems to be a bit of price gouging here.
