| Ipod interface for DLOTransdock with AVIC

Hi Guys,
I have 2005 MDX with aftermarket flip down with DVD for the second row and Pioneer AVIC N2 as a nav unit. After 1 1/2 yr later the flip down's DVD unit started malfunction but the screen still works well. I have been using AVIC to play DVDs for my little ones. I hate the fact that I have to take out the navigation DVD every time I have to play the DVDs. I was shopping around for a new flip down until I ran into this product called DLO Transdock delux (http://www.dlo.com/products/TDock_D...041394156033334) that works with IPDO video. It looks simple enough to use and the price is far reasonable compare to the new flip down unit. Has any one used this product to play movies in their car? By looking at my AVIC N2 brain unit, the video in unit is taken already. Could I use audio/video switch (like this one http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...ive_Audio_.html) to control the source? My systems are set up so that the flip down can work alone or when played, it can be seen in my AVIC unit. Any input would be greatly appreciated |
