I am getting ready to purchase the Wood Grain Steering Wheel and the Painted Fender Flairs for my 2005 MDX. Does anyone else have these?
I am interesting in feedback for the Wood Grain Steering Wheel accessory. If you have one, do you like it? Does the wood grain look good with the black leather steering wheel? Are there any advantages and/or disadvantages?

If you have a Wood Grain Steering Wheel, could you upload a few pics? I have not seen one installed. I have only seen them in the accessories pics with just the steering wheel. |

Not sure if the 05 is the same but the burlwood on my 01 adds a touch of luxury, especially if you get the woodgrain meter trim and wood-leather shift knob to match.
The wheel feels sturdier and a lot better than the current 07+ wood wheel. There should be pics in some member's gallery...
The fender flares add an aggressive stance to an otherwise hum-ho profile. Tip: Get color-matched ones. |

I think the wood wheel adds a touch of class. I also have the flares, as well as body side molding and a tailgate spoiler. I have aspen pearl and these are in the body color. I have the saddle interior. All of these accessories were on the vehicle when I bought it used. I agree with dj's comments about appearance.
I also had a 2001 silver with ebony interior that I bought used as well. It had the wood wheel, which looked good, and the fender flares were a darker gray than the silver and really set it off.

| On the top left of the forum you can click Gallery, then click Upload Pictures on the top right. Each member has their own picture gallery. Then you can link you pic from there. Isnt this forum great? :D |

I have the new accessories installed (dealer) and they look GREAT! I really love the steering wheel.
