Hello,
Our 04 is making the swooshing sound in the rear when turning. I thought it could be the rear shocks, but there is no noise when we go over a bump. Any idea what it could be? Unfortunately, the warrantee just ran out (after 4 years).
Thanks,

| Have you checked the VTM-4 fluid? |

As it turned out, the noise came from the loose spare tire. The weird thing was that my wheel nut wrench (came with the car) did not fit the spare tire hoist shaft. The dealer gave me an new one and tightened the spare tire hoist.
I would recommend checking out the wheel nut wrench to make sure it fits, you don't want to find out when you need to change the tire (in the middle of nowhere).
Thanks,

| Glad it worked out, I seem to remember some members posting a while back about Acura contacting them that thier MDX may have come with the wrong lug nut wrench. |

The replacement wrench was for 2007 models, IIRC. |
