When I make sharp turns, such as in parallel parking or u-turns I hear and feel a CLUNK. It sounds like and feels like when one of your joints (elbows and knees) sticks and needs to be cracked. Is this the suspension thud everyone is talking about?
This also seems to be more prevalent when the car is just starting out. |

| ... sounds like it. Mine does it more with "hard" braking, but I've had it a time or two in your situation. The first try at "re-torquing" didn't seem to fix it. There's supposed to be a next step which might be nothing more than re-torquing again. |

I had what sounds like the same exact problem, and it is not "the thud". I had multiple visits to the service department and they tried all of the thud fixes listed in the TSB, as well as some additional fixes.
I enlisted the assistance of the Acura factory service rep, who was committed to solving the problem. I believe that you are also located in the SF Bay Area, so it may be the same rep.
After much frustration, they finally appear to have fixed the problem and I am hoping that it doesn't come back.
The fix was (from the RO):
They removed the front struts. Disassembled and lubed with Honda Silicone Paste. Lubricated both sides of the bearing as well. Reassembled and installed struts.
I hope this helps |

| I had a thud when braking or any other manuver that would provide some G's. I checked the spare tire and it was delivered with the attaching cable loose. A couple of turns on the tightener nut and she's tight as a drum now. |

| How about when you go into a dip, like out of a parking lot. I don't know if it's conneted to the steering or not, but do you guys get in then? |
