My 2004 MDX has a "Pressureized" gas leaking noise coming from behind the center console.

This noise "comes on" when
1. Engine is started AND
2. And the climate control fan is ON

However, this does not happen all the times but very often. And it wont go away until the car is shut down for a while....

I also notice this is no AC (not cold) recently, will they be related?

This is quite annoying....Any one has any ideas?

Thanks,
Andrew

I don't know if this can help you because it happens to my Toyota Supra (different to your car). About the AC, Either the switch is bad or you have a vacuum leak, the switches are vacuum actuated, the vacuum line is bad, or unhooked somewhere between the engine and the switch or from the switch to the door that switches from upper to lower. Also maybe the vacuum leaks affects the engine noise. Or...

Maybe your car leaked a lot of oil before you noticed it, and after driving it, I hate to say it, but lack of oil could have seriously damaged the engine. The vibrating is caused by the engine missing, (All cylinders not firing.)
