Can anyone tell me if the MDX's radio (FM) display is supposed to show the song title and artist being played (assuming of course it is tuned to a station that broadcasts that information)?
When I bought the car, I could swear those details were being displayed for certain FM stations in addition to XM stations. Now - those details do not appear on any FM stations.
I could be mistaken however and may have never had this (other than on the XM channels). |

| Name/Artist displays only on XM on mine. FM never display any names other than the station number. |

Just bought an 08 MDX and we love it. We traded in an 03 MDX for this one. I'd say that this missing feature was a surprise. Seems even the cheap cars tell you the artist and song on their FM, so I'm not sure why Acura missed this detail.

You're right about that, but even though the stations around here broadcast that info, the MDX doesn't display it. |

The '07 and newer do not support RDS which is what would allow the FM station info to display.
You will only get info from XM or CD/DVD's on the display. |

| I think they did it purposely so FM wouldn't be as appealing as XM and to encourage you to stay signed up with XM. |
