Hey guys!
Has anyone tried to fold their side mirrors while parking at the side of the street? Did it fold easy or do you have to kinda "force" it to fold? Thanks!
Happy easter!!! |

| On my '02, they fold very easily, no force required. |

| it took a little bit of force to move them the first time, but after that, now it takes less force to move them. |

| Fortunately, they fold easily. I have to fold them in whenever I want to park in my garage. :( |

| Our mirrors fold and stay folded? Wow, I had no idea. Cool :) Previously, I've only had vehicles where they would fold in but sprung right back out, basically just flexed in case you hit something. |

I have to fold my driver's side mirror in when I'm backing out of my spot in the city (there's a pillar in the way), but fortunately I'm good with the garage at my country house. Honestly, with a rig this wide the mirrors should be power-folding. I can't imagine having to get out and fold in the passenger-side mirror each time I have to park. What a PITA.
It's no secret that Acura cut a few corners here and there to keep the MDX price-competitive, but this is one feature they should've left in, IMO (maybe they could add it to the Entertainment package... ).

I've folded mine in a few tough merges.
I'm thinking about mounting "thieves chariot" wheel spinners on. |

No offense Craniotes but folding mirrors would have been a useless expense for most folks. You said it yourself: Acura does a pretty decent job at chopping stuff to keep the vehicle affordable.
I would say that power folding mirrors would have made a good compliment to a power tailgate. |
