Wine vs. Water...... - Click HERE for Original Thread

To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine.. and those who don't....

As Ben Franklin said: In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom, in water there is bacteria.
In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated that if we drink 1 liter of water each day, at the end of the year we would have absorbed more than 1 kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria found in feces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of poop.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer/Chelada (or tequila, rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember: Water = Poop Wine = Health

Therefore, it's better to drink wine and talk stupid, than to drink water and be full of ****.

There is no need to thank me for this valuable information: I'm doing this as a public service.

An idiot decided to start a chicken farm, so he bought a hundred chickens to start. A month later, he returned to the dealer for another hundred chickens because all of the first lot had died. A month later he was back at the dealers for another hundred chickens, for the second lot had also died. "But I think I know where I'm going wrong," said the idiot. "I think I am planting them too deep."

BTW, I love wine & Chelada. Too bad I can't mix them together at once.

While we're on the subject of alcohol, recent studies have shown that moderate alcohol consumption, defined as less than 2 drinks a day, reduces the risk of cardiac events (e.g. a heart attack) by 38% - beating the teetotalling population by a significant margin. Even more reason to break out the Tequila!

Love your books collection. For sure one day I will use the pic "My foot in your A$$" by Dr. Seuss for someone. :2:

I thought the books were hilarious too! I can't stop laughing about "my first rave".....

I too heard about the alcohol findings.....All the old farts I knew my parents age that stopped drinking, all died shortly after.....If it works don't mess with it....same goes for smoking. If they smoked most of their life, just let them smoke to the box.....

I had Martin bring my order up from Thousand Oaks Liquor (he has a good selection of tekilla's...) called ABANDONADO Anejo......it making my mouth water.....

40% alcohol is a lil too strong for me tho. What da heck happen to your gigantic picture of the bottle. I saw it briefly & now it's gone. LOL, someone 2nd thought that posting? rookie CJ. :2:

Used to work in Thousand Oaks (T.O.) for 7 yrs, nice area. ;)

Fabvsix finally saw Chelada at the local supermarket and bought a four pack of the Bud Light version. I'm not much of a tomato/clam juice drinker but I gotta say it's not bad. I put a little fresh lime in it, what else do you recommend?

The wife who really like tomato juice and is Irish so she's got to like beer thought it was ugh!

Add some tabasco ! NOT any other hot sauce I ONLY endorse TABASCO. Get a tall beer glass. Stick in your freezer, tilt Chelada can a few times. Squeeze fresh lime juice, tabasco and sprinkle some salt. Then pour in Chelada. NOw try this get a large zip lock bag. add chicken pieces, Sprinkle Tony's and pour in chelada. Let it fall in love for 24 hours in frig. Grill and enjoy!

Alright I'll work on that later today, first it's off to ride the motorcycle and then the store to find some blue jean stain remove  PITA taupe interior

No Tabasco in the house, I typically only have 3 hot sauces, Frank's Red Hot, Cholula, and Sriracha Hot Chili Sauce. I may have to venture into unapproved territory with Frank's ;)
Fabvsix
One thing to remember....when in a resturant ANYWHERE in the world they ALL have TABASCO ! Think about it.........now I cook with Tabasco as opposed to putting it on my cooked food. I only like it on a "sunny side" egg with bacon and toast.....Now Chelada it goes VERY well together.....Try Franks on your second refil as one can fills twice unless you have some humugous bier glass......don't forget to try the "Regular Chelada" not just the Light Chelada.....happy motor cycling...:1:
