Thanks for the prompt reply and information Atsuo!

1.) I'm assuming then that the '9J 22inch' wheel size mean that the wheel is 22 inches in height and 9 inches in width?

2.) Are those Yokohama Parada tires the same model ('Yokohama’s Parada Spec-2') that can be viewed at the Yokohama website?: http://www.yokohamatire.com/TireInt...ireID=17&ID=uhp

3.) What brand/type of tire gloss/dressing do you use on your tires to get that in that shine in the picture below?

Thanks again in advance for your help and I must say (again) that the Maya wheels you have on your X fit your car perfectly!! Tires are also mounted at just the right dimensions- not too wide, too thin, or too 'puffy'.... looks perfect!!

Hello again ATSUO TANAKA!!

First I'd just like to thank you again for your time and thoroughness in your replies!

I have an 07' MDX- same color and just about the same type of accessories you have on your MDX (with the exception of the sport running boards- I have the chrome side steps instead).

I've been contemplating (and researching new wheel options- 22 inch especially) for my MDX and your pictures (with the 22 inch Maya wheels) are probably the 1st set of pictures that I've come across for which the 22 inch wheel (and tire selection/dimensions) really fit the car well (without making it look awkward, 'ghetto', funny looking etc.).

I'm far from a wheel and tire expert and my biggest fear is to end up spending anywhere between $3000 USD (306570.0000 JPY) to $9000 USD (920025.0000 JPY) for new wheels and tires that result in a poor fit or that don't compliment the overall look of the car.

I'm also trying to avoid being left unhappy with the tire dimensions that I choose for the wheels. I dislike tires that 'puff out too much' or that are too wide for the car etc. I certainly prefer a thinner side wall, but at the same time don't want tires that are so thin/non existent a that all you see is rims.

With that in mind, I'd just want to ask you a few more questions if you're able to answer them as you seem to know much more (about wheels and tires) then myself- simply from judging alone upon the outcome of your wheel and tire selection (Maya + Yokohoma). If you cannot answer any/all of them I won't be offended, just thought I'd at least attempt to get an opinion from a valuable source.

1.) Have you noticed any negative vehicle performance issues related to the larger wheels (22inch) and tires? (i.e. decreased acceleration/significant reduction in speed and/or miles per gallon, bumpy ride, inaccurate mileage tracking on odometer, frequency of 'flat tires' etc.)

2.) Do you know the weight (in pounds) of each 22x9 Maya wheel that you have on your MDX?

3.) Did you have to make any kind of adjustment to your spedometer on your car- or any other system on the MDX to accomodate the larger wheel circumfrence?

4.) Are you using TPM (tire pressure monitors) on your new wheels- if so are they the same one's you were using on your smaller Sport (Acura stock) wheels? If not can you please tell me what brand/model of TPM's your currently using on your Maya wheels?

5.) I know the crime rate in Japan pales in comparison to rampant crime and vandilsm, theft in the US, but are you using wheel locks on your car- if so how many are you using? (living in Chicago- USA I may have to get wheel locks on ALL of my bolts...lol)

6.) I realize that the 22 x 9 inch Maya DTV wheels (black with chrome lip) on your car have retail price tag of about $2000 USD (204660.0000 JPY) each!! which may lead me to considering some other wheel choices in the range of about $1000 USD (204660.0000 JPY) each.

7.) If I end up getting other wheels that are of the following sizes:
- 22 x 8.5
- 22 x 9.5
Could you please tell me what TIRE SIZE DIMENSIONS (and offset) you would use to compliment these particular wheel sizes (above) on your MDX (I have the same car as you) in order to achieve that same 'perfect fit' appearance currently on display with your 2nd generation MDX with the 22 x 9 Maya wheels (with the +39 OFFSET and the 265/40/22 YOKOHAMA PARADA TIRE SIZE)

8.) What is the BOLT PATTERN for your 22 x 9 inch Maya DTV wheel?- 5 x 120?

Again, any answers you can provide the to following questions above would be greatly appreciated and taken into heavy consideration as I highly value your opinion!! =)

If I've asked too many questions and/or you can't answer any/all of these questions then I apologize in advance- it's just that your Maya wheels & Yokohama Parada tires are truly the first set of 22 inch wheel & tire combo on the 2nd generation MDX that I can honestly say I really like and compliment the car PERFECTLY!!!! (especially the BLACK 2nd generation MDX)

Well, ATSUO TANAKA I plan on ordering these MAYA wheels and Yokohama tires for my Acura MDX within the coming months- you've been very helpful and I just wanna let you know (again) that your assistance and time spent in answering my questions has been greatly appreciated!!!

6 more simple QUESTION's if you're able to answer them please =)

Upon researching the Maya DTV wheel I noticed that the Black Gloss wheel (with the chrome lip) has 2 different types:

*notice the silver/chrome CENTER cap like the one you have on your Maya DTV wheel

AND

here the CENTER cap is black

QUESTION 1: where (website/URL?) did you purchase your Maya DTV (Black with Chrome Lip) wheel from and did you specifically request to receive the wheel model with the chrome CENTER cap on it (as opposed to the black CENTER cap)?

*I personally prefer the chrome center cap (like the one's on your Maya wheels below) as opposed to the black one...
