Anyone else having this issue?? Have an '05 MDX touring and the AM and FM radio has just stopped working. XM still works...cd's still work...no AM and no FM. Anyone have ANY idea what it might be? I'm hoping it's under warranty as the vehicle only has 24K miles on it, but I must say I am extremely disappointed with Acura on this!!...:mad: I saw in Consumer Reports that it gave the radio on this model bad marks...could this be why??

The only thing that I can think of that would give it poor marks is a bulletin a few years ago regarding poor AM reception.
Is there any display when the radio portion is engaged, but no sound, or.....?
And yes, it's under warranty :) |

| Got back from the dealer. They got it working again, but said there was a short in the radio so they ordered me a new one and it will be replaced under warranty. They said that it will keep happening so it's better to replace the radio...of course I agreed with that! Thanks for your help. |
