Hi, I just got my 04 MDX two weeks ago and I just noticed moisture in the driver side headlight. Anyone have any suggestions of what I should do? There isn't much, and I still haven't figure out if it's all the time or just sometimes that it gets moisture. I've included a picture. |

If you are still under warranty, get it fixed. If not, you'll have to see how the water is getting inside. Usually once it gets moisture inside, its hard to dry. If the weather is nice, try and pull out the bulbs out of the sockets and let the moisture escape. It may take a few tries. Then see if the problem comes back. In some car washes, sometimes the water is forced into places it shouldnt be.
Heres a thread where other people have similar issues, even on the 04 style.

| Other members have reported this too, and I belive the dealer took care of it under warranty by replacing the unit. Not sure if they wll do the same for your '04, but it's worth a shot to ask. |

Perfect, thanks so much for the help. I will check my Acura Extended Care warranty and see if the fine prints covers the headlights and if it doesn't I'll just call my salesperson and see what he can do. My stereo volume controls on the steering wheel were not working last week and they fixed them no charge since they worked the 1st day I got my X. The dealer has been very good to me.
thanks again!:D |

| I just took delivery of my 2004 yesterday and the passengers side headlight was full of water. They said that when they were detailing the car it filled up with water. They said the seal must be broken between the lense and the housing. They have one on order and will be replacing it for free under my extended Acura warranty. |
