Well, after surfing the board and waiting for the price reduction from Acura, I finally took the plunge and will be picking up my new '08 MDX tech on Friday.

Thanks guys! Color combo is sterling gray metallic with black seats. Got the X for about $48.5k taxes in. Details with photos to come.

Speaking of black seats. To my experience, there seems to be TWO type of black interior. My friend had a nimbus gray with ebony. I have steel blue also with ebony. When 2 of our vehicles park side by side, his ebony interior is cleary a tat lighter black or should I say a DARK DARK GRAY interior. This includes trims, panels, & seats.... My ebony however is a much deeper black. I didn't really like his dark dark gray color at all. Thoughts??? |

Yes, we both bought the same year 2007 at the same dealership in Calabasas, CA.
1. Mine is steel blue/ebony manufactured in Sep 2006.
2. His is nimbus gray/ebony manufactured in Feb 2007.
Imagine 100% black. mine is around 95%. His is at at best 85-90%. 5-10% is enough for everyone to see the difference. He even admitted that his like my ebony interior than his. |
