I just bought a 2001 MDX with 89,000 miles. Its been great so far, but the other day the SRS light came on and didn't go off. I have driven it once since then and it has continued to do the same thing. Both driver and passanger were wearing seatbelts and were sitting upright propperly in the seat (everything that the manual said to do) but still continued to stay on. Has anyone else experianced this? Does anyone have a simple soloution to try before I take it to the dealer and spend a ton of money for something that might be really simple? Do the airbags have a lifetime warranty like the seatbelts? Does the SRS light come on when its time for an inspection like the check engine light (for your 100,000 mile inspection for example)?
HELP PLEASE!!! |

| The TL we used to have had a problem with SRS light staying on all the time. The problem was the seat belt buckle. They ended up replacing it under warranty. Something to ask the dealer. Good luck. |

A few things i forgot to mention, I had the vehicle inspected about 5 days prior to the problem starting at the Acura dealership and it passed without question. The seatbelt light goes off when the seatbelt is latched. I have tried it with no one or nothing in the passenger seat. Does it still sound like a seatbelt problem?
Thanks |
