I have a problem that I have not noted discussed in forums here. If someone has already discussed this, please tell me.
The window in the driver's door is VERY SLOW in cold weather. It will go down OK, but is agonizingly slow to put it back up. I frequently have to help it along, by holding on to the glass and pulling it up as the motor tries its best to raise the glass.
I am afraid of burning out the motor this way.
It seems to do ok in warmer weather, just has trouble in the cold.
My X is out of warranty, so I'm not eager to take it to the dealer, but if that's what I have to do... |

With the window down spray some silicone spray and spray it in the channels of the window. NOT DOWN THE DOOR. But in the side verticle channels. Run it up and down a couple of times, might as well do the other windows. |

| If the silicone idea does not work there are mechanics at places other than the dealer. |
