| Hey, im new here but i just wanted to know if i can put in a double-din indash replacing the stock screen which is already in there? If i can how do i control the a/c mode and stuff? :confused: I really need to know this so can someone answer me asap! Thanx |

| I assume you are referring to changing the factory navi screen to a double din aftermarket. The short answer, no. It is not just a matter of removing the stock navi and putting in the new double din. You would loose your navi and anything else that shows on the navi screen. It can be done but lots of modification to the factory system would need to be done in order for everything to work as normal. |

| But the thing is it isn't a navi its a trip computer?Does that make it any easier or even possible? |

The thread highmath pointed you to is right on the button. Even with the trip computer, you are going to give something up. You can get a screen to fit there but, you will loose the ability to see any info from the trip computer. You can still use the buttons for A/C and such but, you will have no way to not what setting you are on. Unless you relocate the trip computer to another location. |
