Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has been successful getting their Blackberry Pearl linked to Handsfree Link. I have gone through the instructions several times, Bluetooth is in search mode for both devices, but no luck, device not found.

Thanks in advance!

Looks like you got your post A$$ kicked out of the 2007 MDX forum into the binary cementary, some call it BLACK HOLE. Here you should find peace & quiet awaiting to be vanished. :2:

P.S. May be we should donate more & more money ... sort of like a "protection" money to keep our A$$'s post fr being kicked around. I'm just saying. :8:

We are trying to keep the appropriate subjects under the correct header titles. This allows for more frequent browsing and easier searching and archiving. While I agree, most of the off-topic titles are rarely touched, most of the first twelve titles are posted to and searched daily.

Now with that out of the way, Marti welcome to the forum. While you may be upset your post was moved you have now caused me to merge your second thread with your first. Please do not re-post the same question. Your post was moved for the above reason.

I searched "Blackberry Pearl" through the forum this morning.

I found this post on the second thread in the search:

http://www.acuramdx.org/forums/show...&threadid=30232

The last line might mean something to you. I do not have a Blackberry, so I do not know how to guide you. I would definitely call your dealer or Acura to verify that it will work at all with HFL. According to a few threads I read in the search this morning, you are not the only one who has had pairing issues, and the TL model has the same problems with the BB.

Was just turned on the phone at the time so signal hasn't gotten nuff time to catch up. Although, my computer room (no doubt) produces a lot of statics???

BTW it's not ATT, look again, this morning, it's RAJBULL service carrier.
:2:

You, my internet friend, will never know who my real carrier is. :D

I am a new owner of an '08 Aspen White Pearl w/ Parchment - Tech/Ent. I too have a BlackBerry Pearl and have had no problem syncing my phone with the HandsFreeLink system. I transferred my Address Book with ease. Make sure you have Bluetooth enabled and have the HandsFreeLink as a connect-able device.

HandsFreeLink automatically connects with my phone when I start the car only if my phone is unlocked. It won't auto-connect when I start the car if the phone is locked - only then do I have to manually connect.

I'm not sure how much this helped, if any, but I wanted you to know that the Pearl has worked great for me so far...and I'm loving my new MDX!

I had no problems either...just follow the instructions.

I did follow the instructions (duh!), after several attempts, it finally worked. I now get an error every time I try to import my address book (not compatible), but I will keep trying and hopefully that will work one of these times!

Thanks everyone who offered your help!
Marti
