Hi,
None of the power outlets work on my wife's 2003 MDX when the car is turned off. In my vehicle they do work, so my cell phone can charge when the car is not in use.
Is this part of all MDX's or is there maybe an electrical issue going on?
Thanks |

| That is correct. It cuts off power off to not drain the battery. |

Okay, thanks. In my truck one of my power outlets stays *hot*, and the other turns off, so I'm able to charge my cell phone when the car isn't running.
Do you know if it is possible to wire one of the outlets to stay hot? I understand the battery drain issue, but I've never had an issue with that in my Dodge truck or Saturn.
Thanks again. |

Take your MDX to a reputable car stereo shop and have them wire either the "Not An Astray" outlet or center console outlet (or both if you like) to stay "hot" or "constant" when the ignition is off. If you ask them nicely, they may not charge you more than a couple of bucks. Good luck.:29: |
