I just had a great experience with http://www.oemacuraparts.com/ I dealt with Lance and he was was super quick to reply to questions. He even worked out a better shipping price than quoted on the web site since I was ordering $1000 worth of accessories. The accessories were shipped via DHL and their fee to collect the taxes from me was SEVEN dollars. Take that UPS! :) I am not sure if DHL delivers to your door as I got a call telling me my package was there and to come pick it up. This didn't make a difference for me since I wouldn't have been home for a UPS/FedEx delivery and would have had to pick it up anyway.

Anyway, great experience, all my accessories arrived as expected and were well packed. I'd definitely order from them again. Prices were excellent as well (I clicked on their 25% off accessories link).

I know people will ask me why I didn't order from Hondacuraworld and I wanted to! But after emailing them, I found out that they only ship UPS ground to Canada. Any Canadians who've had shipments via UPS know that their brokerage fees are CRAZY and overpriced for a collection fee. So, I avoid buying things from the U.S. if UPS is the only shipping option because UPS is way out of line with their pricing. Duty and taxes are not a problem for me, it is just the fee that UPS charges to collect the duty/taxes from us.

I had good service with Tim at Hondacuraworld and had it shipped Fedex Ground to a forwarding service just over the US border (Freeport Forwarding).

Had 1 problem with the cargo cover that was damaged in transit.

They replaced it promptly.

I am glad there was a solution for you. I was only told they ship UPS Ground to Canada. But, I don't see how getting it shipped 2x would have been cheaper for me anyway (once to the forwarding service and then once to me). I don't live anywhere near the border so there is no way I can pick it up. DHL was awesome. Brokerage fees comparable were comparable to postal service. I'll also add that my shipping cost was amazingly low.

I am 90 minutes away from the border and Freeport Forwarding is a location where you can have your order shipped to for you to pick it up and get it across the border yourself. They charge $3.00 per box up to 70 lbs. see www.freeportforwarding.com.

The people at Hondacuraworld are familiar with that location.

I just purchased over $4,000 of goodies for the MDX in the past month (20" RonJon Wheels, 20" Toyo PoxesST tires, Running Boards, Cargo Cover, Husky liners)

Best Regards

Well, I live about a 3 days drive from New York. :) And I doubt getting it shipped from there would have been cheaper than the $65 I paid and I would have to arrange the shipping myself. The Freeport web site doesn't list much info so I would have had to spend additional time contacting them and finding out rates and how they ship. With small kids and work, it was nice to be able to just order directly.

The point of my post is to let Canadians know that oemacuraparts has great shipping rates to Canada and will ship via DHL which has great brokerage fees. Their prices are also just as good as anywhere else and they provide great service. This doesn't mean anyone has to order from them, just letting people know they are a good option for Canadians (especially those who don't live near the border or who don't want to deal with the using a 3rd party).
