Do you California guys apply Zainp products in the sun or shade? We are finally getting weather in the 70's and I am going to do the wifes Honda today. My process will be:
Dawn Wash
Dry
Claybar
Z7 Wash
Dry
Z-AIO application
Z5 application
Z6 application
Z-CS application
unless others have suggestions...

I know this will take all day and I am wondering if I need to get it out of the sun with these products.
Thanks

Apply in the sun works best for my metallic steel blue. 70's temp is a near perfect to apply my CS. A little humidity helps but not necessary. The AIO however is a little picky. Too dry of a weather would make the job harder.

I would never wax my vehicle in the direct sun......I don't care what Sal or LS say, shady, cool spot is BEST ! :1:

What's the matter? Afraid of a little sunshine might hurt your skin? Sun ray not just helps everything on earth but help us human digest food faster. Look it up.

Back to the topic (I don't wanna get my sorry Post A$$ kicked for not sticking the the topic).... NOT! :D
... Anyway, after the zaino CS style, I tend to leave the X out in the sun bathing. The same bathing process is used again the following days. By the 3rd day of sun bathing ... you get the drift. Hello shiny X mirror like friggin WET shine like no other. ;)

Thanks for the help.

I found the claybar and Z-6 directions required a cool car. So, for the most part I did it in the garage. LS. you gotta help me understand this CS. It was hard to know if i was applying too much or not enough. Any tips?
I ended up applying a little too much in places. I used a Z6 wipe and the shine came through.
Very hard to know when you are putting on too much though.

Ok, beside the Zaino-CS's intruction on their website which I've followed closely, here is my experience on the CS.

First, my X was already waxed by the stealer's $600 protection package inside out. So I didn't really need any additional wax. This is why I proceed straight to the CS strictly experimental purpose. TURNED OUT, amazing glossy wet result.

I started from the top, 2 sprays about 10" apart, then work them evenly with the pad. Move on to next area, so on. The entire process took around 15-20 mins. Used up around 1/5 of that bottle. Then I let it dry for 2-3 days with sun or no sun don't really matter. Just don't drive it around (you might get it dirty from splashing water & oily road....

The following day after the spraying, you will see HAZY effect on your X. This is normal. At this point, you will clearly see any OVER SPRAYED area as it is shown with the thickest HAZE. Don't worry, give it total of 3 days & even the thickest haze will go away. (I over sprayed all the time).

Up to date, my X has total of 3 coats CS (nothing else). Every layer of CS added a mirror glossy wet look to my metallic steel blue. Don't know if you see any pic of my X. In person, it looks wetter & much glossier.

P.S. after 3 days, any left over haze that you can see, can be easily wiped it shine with any micro fiber rag. ;)
P.S.2. Very important. The 2nd day I put a car cover on the X. The 3rd day, remove the cover & woila, ... you get the drift? Why car cover? don't know why. Didn't do it the first coat, but 2nd & 3rd coat with car cover really bring out the shine.

You have proven information can be exchanged on threads other than the 2007 or newer thread!!!!

Wow, I feel so important. No you shouldn't have. No, really you don't have to do this. I don't think I deserve this ground breaking award.
