Looking at buying a new MDX/Tech package in Northern VA.
Got quotes from all the local dealerships...lowest is as follows:
$40,000 for the car (inc. destination)
$100 processing fee
$1,200.00 3% Va. sales tax
$88 tag and title fee
$41,388.00 OTD
What kind of trade value for a 2006 Touring in perfect condition (Silver/Black) with NAV & RES -- 28k miles should I realistically expect?? |

Yeah that's what I'm worried about. Carmax offered $28,250, so we will do no worse than that but hoped for a tad more. We'll see today.... |

Welp, we ended up getting the deal
$39,285.00 for 2008 Silver/Ebony Tech Pkg
$715.00 destination
$399.00 remote start add on (the wife really wanted this for the winter)
$1203.00 3% Sales tax
$100.00 processing fee
$80.00 tags/tite fees
$41782.00 OTD. All fee's listed for this particular dealer. Was able to finance what was left after our trade with Pentagon Federal Credit Union (www.penfed.org) at 4.25% which is a special they have going on now.
We think we did okay since we paid under invoice. They were able to match Carmax with the trade which is OK and saves us trouble, we had hoped for more but we can't really complain TOO awful much about this price. |
