When I slowly accelerate, I hear a rattling noise. Anyone else ever experience this?

Where is the rattle coming from? How many miles on the car?
Could be anything from the rear seats, to needing better gas, to something more serious. |

| Yea, we need more specifics? Sound like an exterior or interior noise? Did you try revving it up in park and see if u are getting the same noise? |

| My 04 has recently gotten a similar noise. It comes from under the car outside around the front seat area, both seats. It sounds like a very dull metallic shudder. It's hard to describe. My old Honda Civic did this and the dealer told me it was the heat shied from the catalytic converter rattling. My sound is not very metallic in sound though. Some times it comes from the drivers side and other times it's from the passenger area. It occurs when you are accelerating from a low speed. Anyone else with this sound or advise? I'm out of warranty and the nearest dealer is an hour away. |

| I played with the heat sheild by bending it a bit and the noise is completely gone! |
