Is it possible to replace the 2004 trim kit for the interior (the burlwood) with parts from a 2006? I really like the zebra wood, and would love to change it out, but couldn't find if it was possible. If so, where can I buy the pieces? I've looked everywhere, but can't seem to find the OEM pieces.....

I would check in a OEM Parts order site: www.acuraoemparts.com the part numbers would be different but the illustrations will provide you an idea.

I am trying to do the exact same thing! I have not been able to find anywhere to buy the 06 trim. Let me know if you find something and I'll do the same if I find something.

Best price is at hondapartsunlimited.com - for example, the center assy is about $84. What I still can't tell is if it is actually possible - ie, will the parts fit? I need to order a center assembly to get the vent clip fixed (yes, I tried to superglue it, but it didn't work), but I don't know whether to take the plunge with the new trim color or not......

Pretty sure you are all right. I had a problem with my 03 not matching a 05 due to the harzard switch. My 03 has a passenger airbag light above it and that makes it too large for the opening i think you will be fine if you stay in the 04-06 range

I've got the same piece for 87.55 shipped, btw.....
The parts will fit, from all of the info I've been able to pull up, without a problem. |
