Just Bought a loaded 2004 MDX !

First post,

It is my second Acura! I totaled my 01 CLS in 2006 and since than I was stuck driving our 99 Sienna LE. Finally, my wife privately sold it last Friday. It had 125Kmiles.

On Saturday, we went shopping for an MDX.

In Short, we stopped by local (DFW) independent luxury car dealer. He had 5 MDX.

Here what we got:
2004 MDX Touring, NAV and RES
Black on Block
66500 miles

Options:
Chrome Wheels, Acura Wheel Locks and missing Key :o
Goodyear Assurance Sports Tires
Side Rails
Towing hitch
Cargo Cover
All Weather mats.

Extras: Dealer Serviced (all regular services) and Extra Glossy Paint

Asking price: $24K, Negotiated price $22.5k + Tax/Fees = OTD $24k.

State of Origing CAL, then sold to Houston, then Dallas.

Did I get a good deal?

BTW, I was so happy I almost got a 2005 RL with 33K miles....

I think you might of been able to do lower, but market value can vary due to location. Are they stock chrome rims and what kind of hitch?

OEM Acura Chrome rims and OEM Acura Hitch. Tires are Goodyear Assurance.

While checking the wheels, I noticed that there are Acura Wheel Locks. However, I did not see the Key for the Wheel locks anywhere in the Vehicle. I had similar Acura Wheels Locks on my 01 CLS. I was able to locate them. However, they are similar but do not match!.

I am are really annoyed for this surprise. Any ideas how to get a matching Key for the Acura wheel locks?

Thanks for your help.

You can always try the dealer you bought the car from. But odds are, you need to go to a Acura dealer.

If the Key can't be found at the dealer where I bought my MDX. Then, all what I have to do is to remove those locks and install the ones that I kept from my CLS. Of course, unless I can get a matching Key for cheap.

Yea, that can work too.
