I know the 04 MDX is a medium size SUV, However, the Brakes feel too soft. As if there is no bite to them. Braking distance is too long to my liking.
Is this normal, or should I consider replace the Brake pads?

| I felt they had a nice bite, but its probably normal considering the weight of the vehicle. Maybe consider getting the brake pads and rotors checked out. |

My 2004 had good brakes.
Without driving your specific vehicle I could not hazard a guess as to the problem.

Maybe, I was used to drive my CLS weight is ~3500 lbs to Sienna LE at ~3900 lb to now MDX is around ~4500 lbs.
Maybe it is time to look up some braking distance tests for comparison. |
